Cassandra Wright is the newest physiotherapist to join the Physioworks team. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University in 2013 Cassandra is excited to be entering the physiotherapy profession with her broad range of knowledge and skills.

Cassandra excelled academically and practically throughout her university degree and received the "Best Academic Performance Award" upon the completion of her degree. Cassandra has had practical experience in a range of physiotherapy fields including musculoskeletal, sporting injuries, women’s health, neurology, aged care, cardiorespiratory conditions, post-surgical, and spinal injuries.

Cassandra thoroughly enjoyed the experience she obtained in musculoskeletal, sporting injuries, and women’s health and hopes to one day in the future further her studies in one or more of these areas.

Extending beyond Cassandra’s academic and practical ability she is described as a friendly, caring person who ensures she provides the best treatment for each and every one of her patients.

Cassandra believes it is important to work alongside the patient in order for them to achieve the physical goals they personally desire.

In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys her attending the gym, social tennis, and heading to the beach on the weekends.

Who is John Miller? John Miller is a clinical physiotherapist with over 25 years experience in sports injury and musculoskeletal management. John graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1988. He has worked locally and abroad gaining hospital and private practice experience. During his time in the UK, he was a Senior Physiotherapist at The Royal London Hospital Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Unit. He continues to work with numerous sporting clubs and representative teams. John has been club physiotherapist to the Sandgate-Redcliffe Cricket Club for almost 20 years. Among numerous teams, he has been a club physiotherapist for North Star Football Club during their premiership years, Northside Wizards Basketball and the Brisbane Touch Football Association. John continues his interest in sports coverage with junior and adults sporting groups. John is a former Clinical Educator for the University of Queensland and presents injury education programs to schools, sports clubs, community and medical groups. John's sporting interests are wide and varied. He is a former Queensland gymnastics champion and continues to stay fit via cycling, running, touch football, tennis and golf.
