Common Rowing Injuries


I loved watching the rowing, canoeing and kayaking at the Olympics.  Didn't you?

Rowing has some wonderful health benefits and  is a fantastic sport for developing core, leg and arm strength plus all the cardiovascular benefits. Unfortunately, it does have a reasonably high incidence of lower back and overuse injuries.
