Zoe Russell is an APA Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who joined the PhysioWorks team in 2008.  Zoe has an undergraduate dual degree qualification in Physiotherapy and Exercise Science and has completed her postgraduate studies in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Zoe is recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist as a result of her studies.Zoe is a friendly physiotherapist who utilises her advanced knowledge of the human body and how it operates in both health and injury to provide patients with the highest standard of care. Zoe focuses her injury management by combining her Physiotherapy and Exercise Science knowledge to provide a multifaceted approach to treating your injury, focusing on how and why injury happens, how to fix the injury and to prevent injury recurrence. Her experience and knowledge of sporting biomechanics and the demands of both elite and recreational sporting pursuits, allows her to diagnose, treat and help you recover more quickly! A physiotherapist is only entitled to use the APA Sports Physiotherapist or APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist title, after completion of a Masters Degree in the field of Sports or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
